As a seasoned real estate professional, Dwight has developed a keen eye for identifying and acquiring prime hunting properties. His deep understanding of land values, property management, and ecosystem dynamics allows him to handpick exclusive hunting grounds that boast exceptional game populations, natural beauty, and optimal shooting conditions.

Dwight's lifelong passion for hunting and wingshooting runs deep within his veins. From an early age, he was immersed in the world of outdoor pursuits, honing his skills as a marksman while cultivating a profound appreciation for nature and wildlife. Carolina has a wealth of skill sets, including over 5 years as an executive chef in the EU outfitting industry.

Native-born, Carolina brings order and sensibility to our male dominated staff! She has a wealth of skill sets, including over 5 years as an executive chef in the EU outfitting industry. As such, Carolina works with our executive chefs to ensure that our clients enjoy a truly gourmet experience. In fact, our meal service is one of the top compliments we receive from our clients. Carolina ensures that our lodge has all the appropriate American creature comforts and that our staff service is comparable to a five-star hotel. Never one to rest, she constantly refines and improves the small details that our clients keep coming back for more.

Martin Chiesa

Martin has been in the outfitting industry nearly 20 years and is well known and respected in the industry.

Martin is the General Manager of Araras SA and Operations Manager of Closaway-San Jose Outfitters. Martin is a native-born Uruguayan and excellent English speaker. Martin has been in the outfitting industry nearly 20 years and is well known and respected in the industry. Martin excels at all aspects of our San Jose operation, including scouting, dog work and choregraphing all aspects of the hunts. As the master of the lodge, Martin truly enjoys interfacing and caring for our clients and is well known for his great sense of humor. Martin ensures that all clients leave having had their expectations exceeded.
